Lion’s Mane mushroom (Hericium Erinaceus) is roaring with health benefits – promoting mood, memory, mental clarity and immunity.

Lion’s Mane mushroom is the rising superstar of the fungi kingdom. It’s commonly found on dead or decaying hardwood, spurting out as a series of icicle-like spines. But don’t let its shaggy, unearthly appearance deter you…

Lion’s Mane mushroom is commonly celebrated for its nootropic effects – meaning it can enhance memory and cognitive function. What’s more, it’s rich in Beta-Glucans, which are believed to promote immunity and boost overall wellbeing.

Our Australian Lion’s Mane Extract  is bursting with flavour, as we combine our homegrown Lion’s Mane with native Australian botanicals. We infuse Davidson Plum, Quandong, Strawberry Gum, Lemon Myrtle and Mountain Pepperberry – giving you an extra boost of antioxidants, vitamin C and vitamin E.

FAQs:

What is dual extraction?

The medicinal compounds in mushrooms are not readily available for the body to absorb. Dual extraction means that our Lion’s Mane mushroom is extracted with both alcohol and hot water, which helps to draw out these medicinal compounds.

What is myceliated brown rice, and why is it in my extract?

Mycelium is the vegetative part of the mushroom. If we liken it to a flower, mycelium would be the mushroom’s root system. Research shows that the combination of mycelium and the fruiting body offers greater nutritional and medicinal properties. As we organically grow our own mycelium right here on our farm, it needs some substrate to feed on. This is where the brown rice comes in – studies also suggest that the fermented brown rice substrate hosts an array of health benefits. It’s a win-win. Click here to read more about why we use myceliated brown rice.

Can children, pregnant women and nursing mothers use Lion’s Mane Extract?

As mushroom farmers, this is not our area of expertise. Due to the lack of research in this area, we recommend children, pregnant women and nursing mothers avoid our products or consult their doctor before incorporating Lion’s Mane supplements into their diet.

Is there any research on the nutritional and medicinal value of Lion’s Mane?

We’re not saying that Lion’s Mane is a cure-all for every ailment. However, there is some exciting research that suggests it can be used to promote overall health and wellbeing. Take a look:
