What is dual extraction?
We extract our Cordyceps mushroom with both alcohol and hot water. Why? Well, this combination is effective in breaking down the tough chitin wall and medicinal compounds. What is myceliated brown rice?
Think of mycelium as the underground root system beneath the mushroom body. It’s the vegetative part of a fungus. We feed this mycelium brown rice, as studies suggest there are several nutritional benefits to this. We wrote a blog post on it here.
Will hemp seed oil make you high?
Absolutely not. Hemp is not the same thing as Marijuana. Unlike marijuana, Hemp Seed Oil does not contain the psychoactive compound “THC”. Hemp is made from the seeds of the Cannabis plant, which have no psychoactive effects.
Are there any side effects of Cordyceps and Hemp Seed Oil?
There are limited human studies on the side effects of Cordyceps. However, it is widely considered a safe and well-tolerated mushroom. So much so, the Chinese government even approved Cordyceps for use within hospitals. Hemp Seed Oil is also deemed very safe to consume. There is little research on taking Cordyceps and Hemp Seed Oil whilst pregnant and breastfeeding, so as always, we recommend you consult your doctor before using any Cordyceps supplements.
